ABSTRACT
Hair transplantation, particularly follicular unit excision (FUE), is a widely accepted treatment for androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and other forms of hair loss. While generally safe, surgical complications such as recipient site infections can occur. This case report presents a 45-year-old male who developed a post-operative infection likely linked to the reuse of a dull sterile implanter pen. We discuss the clinical course, management, and lessons learned to emphasize the importance of proper instrument selection and infection control practices.
