AB  - Hair restoration surgery is performed under local anesthesia. The use of epinephrine reduces blood loss during the procedure. However, a few cases of scalp necrosis related to the use of local anesthetics with epinephrine have been reported, especially in smokers. We present a case report in which the area of early necrosis was prevented from advancing by using nitroglycerin (sublingual).
