Abstract
Graft harvesting by follicular unit excision (FUE) is usually performed using motorized handpieces. However, when the punch is introduced into the scalp, the trimmed graft can get blocked inside of the punch. This typically requires using forceps to manually dislodge the graft from the punch. This delicate manipulation takes time and risks damaging the follicle. This article describes a new device developed by the author that makes it possible to overcome these drawbacks.
