Abstract
This month we profile a member who, while greatly respected for his wisdom by those of us who have know him for more than 20 years, is not a regular on the speaker's podium or a frequent contributor to the journals. Bill Parsley typifies many hard working and conscientious hair restoration surgeons world wide. He comes from a conservative area of the USA, looks after his family and does a great job for his patients with a minimum of fuss and no fanfares of trumpets. I know that there are hundreds of others like Bill out there and while he is profiled here, I dedicate this article to you all—the hundreds of other “unsung heroes” who make up the groundroots of our wonderful profession.
